Experimental Study on Oil Colour Grading Based on Uniform Colour Space

Abstract Though the Lovibond colorimetric method is effective for determining oil colour, it a visual comparison which relies on manual reading. As result, this vulnerable to influence of subjective factors testers and low accuracy. In paper, original index colour grading based space changed uniform space, new proposed determine by spectrophotometry. The experimental results show that there strong correlation between red value chroma *, yellow b *. So greatly improves detection efficiency avoids series disadvantages method.
